Position: Sr Hardware Engineer for Digital HW+ Engineering (TT90ST RM 4369)
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to support HARMAN’s Digital HW+ Engineering initiative. The objective is to integrate simulation into Hardware Engineering development processes and establish a reusable digital component library to enable Model-Based Engineering.
Responsibilities
Support the integration of simulation activities into HW development processes (PLM 350).
Analyze current engineering workflows and identify opportunities for simulation-driven development.
Define process updates, work products, and engineering guidelines.
Support the definition and governance of electronic component simulation libraries.
Define requirements for reusable simulation models (e.g. SPICE, IBIS, S-Parameters, Verilog, VHDL).
Work with Digital Twin, Process, and Hardware Engineering teams to align engineering practices.
Prepare process documentation, presentations, and technical recommendations.
Required Profile
Senior Hardware Engineer (10+ years preferred).
Strong background in electronic hardware development.
Good understanding of electronic simulation methodologies.
Experience with one or more of:
SPICE
Advanced SPICE
IBIS
S-Parameters
Verilog
VHDL
Experience describing and improving engineering processes.
Ability to work in international cross-functional teams.
Excellent English communication skills.
