Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer
Overview:
Join the cutting-edge team behind NeuroStar®, an industry-leading transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) platform used to treat mental health disorders. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced medical device systems, including embedded controls, power electronics, and pulsed-power technologies. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovative product development in a rapidly evolving field, collaborating across teams to bring high-reliability medical solutions from concept to market.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
10+ years of product development experience
Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, simulation, and design tools
Proficiency in microcontroller-based systems, embedded development, and power electronics (MOSFETs, IGBTs)
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and solve challenging engineering problems
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with medical device product development and IEC 60601-1 safety standards compliance
Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance testing, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), pulsed power systems, and electronic ballast design
Familiarity with Six Sigma, reliability engineering methodologies, and design-for-quality best practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
At least 10 years of relevant product development experience, preferably within medical devices
Other Requirements:
Ability to collaborate with EMC labs, manufacturing partners, and regulatory teams
Willingness to support product enhancements and root cause investigations
Experience mentoring engineering teams and promoting best practices
