Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Space Systems Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to pioneering projects in satellite systems and space exploration. As a cutting-edge space technology company, Dhruva Space specializes in developing next-generation satellite solutions that meet the evolving needs of the space industry. The Space Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of satellite systems, focusing on maximizing performance, reliability, and efficiency throughout the entire system lifecycle. This position requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to drive impactful advancements in space technology.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to architect and develop robust Avionics systems, high-frequency RF front-ends, and satellite communication links.
Lead RF antenna design and link budget analysis to ensure
seamless communication between space-borne assets and ground infrastructure.
Conduct high-fidelity electromagnetic simulations and modeling to optimize antenna radiation patterns and signal integrity across satellite subsystems.
Design and integrate advanced electronic components, including power amplifiers, transceivers, and digital signal processing units for spacecraft avionics.
Define and execute test plans, including environmental testing, integration testing, and validation to ensure system functionality and reliability.
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the development and operational phases.
Stay updated with advancements in space technology and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and enhancements.
Demonstrate proficiency in PCB design and layout for high-reliability space applications.
Apply hands-on experience with system-level debugging and troubleshooting to ensure mission success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or specialized RF/Telecommunications fields.
2-6 years of experience in Mission design, development, or operations
Deep proficiency in RF design and simulation tools (CST Studio, HFSS, ADS) along with standard electronics EDA tools like Altium and MATLAB/Simulink.
Advanced knowledge of Avionics architectures, RF antenna theory, and digital satellite communication protocols.
Experience with environmental testing, integration, and validation
Ability to lead and manage complex engineering projects
Experience working with ground stations and/or satellite communications.
Familiarity with digital communications concepts such as modulation and coding schemes.
Familiarity with the radio frequency concept.
Strong foundation in basic electronics and practical experience in PCB design and system-level debugging.
