Focus
Build and enhance cloud-based applications that support document-heavy operational workflows.
Develop backend services and APIs using Python and modern web technologies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate evolving business needs into reliable software features.
Improve data pipelines and system performance across structured and unstructured data sources.
Contribute to testing, monitoring, deployment, and other engineering practices that improve production readiness.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand workflow challenges and deliver practical solutions.
Help shape technical decisions, implementation plans, and scalable software architecture.
Document solutions clearly and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Qualifications
5 or more years of software engineering experience building production applications
Strong experience with Python and modern application development frameworks
Experience designing APIs, working with databases, and building cloud-hosted systems
Ability to work across multiple layers of the stack in a fast-moving environment
Comfort handling both structured and unstructured data in real-world systems
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners
Experience navigating ambiguity and moving projects from concept to production
Preferred
Exposure to AI-enabled applications, workflow automation, or data-rich enterprise software
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or similar technologies
Background working with integrations, internal tools, or customer-facing technical solutions
Familiarity with startup environments or other high-growth teams
Interest in building scalable systems that support operational decision-making
