HireCircle is partnering with a leading technology company on the search for a Senior Hardware/Electrical Engineer to take ownership of hardware validation and board bring-up for a complex embedded systems platform.
About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing technology company building complex, high-performance hardware systems at the cutting edge of their industry. They're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electronic hardware from first concept through to manufacturing — a rare chance to shape products end-to-end rather than a single slice of the lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Architect, design, develop, and integrate electronic equipment, components, and integrated circuitry for complex, high-performance hardware systems
Own the full electrical hardware development lifecycle: requirements, design, test, integration, and manufacturing
Evaluate competing design approaches and use data-driven, methodical analysis to down-select to plan-of-record designs
Analyse electrical requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints
Configure programmable logic devices using high-level programming languages
Conduct experimental tests, establish operating data, and evaluate results
Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
Identify component operational characteristics that could impact system performance or sustainability
Contribute to proposals, budget estimates, and schedules to meet program objectives
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience designing and delivering electronic hardware for complex systems
Proven track record across the full hardware lifecycle — from requirements capture to production
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to design trade-offs
Experience with programmable logic devices (e.g. FPGAs) and associated toolchains
Hands-on experience with lab test equipment and experimental evaluation
Understanding of component selection for reliability and long-term sustainability
Comfortable contributing to proposals, budgets, and program schedules
Must be a US person (US citizen or permanent resident) due to the nature of the work
