X+ years of experience in Hardware Design and Product Development for automotive, industrial, or embedded electronic systems.
Strong knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, and microcontroller-based circuit design.
Experience in converting customer requirements and system specifications into detailed hardware architecture and schematics.
Hands-on experience in schematic capture using tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent EDA tools.
Expertise in component selection, derating analysis, tolerance analysis, and BOM optimization.
Experience in designing interfaces such as CAN, LIN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, and other communication protocols.
Strong understanding of power supply design including AC-DC, DC-DC converters, LDOs, battery management, and protection circuits.
Experience in PCB stack-up definition, layout reviews, signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI considerations, and thermal management.
Ability to perform design calculations, simulations, and validations using tools such as SPICE, LTspice, MATLAB, or equivalent.
Experience in prototype bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and multimeters.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR).
Experience in supporting NPI (New Product Introduction), pilot builds, engineering validation, and production ramp-up activities.
Familiarity with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 26262, CISPR, IEC, UL, CE, and customer-specific requirements.
