Job Summary:
In this role, you have the opportunity to lead Criador Labs' innovation. We seek a highly self-motivated and passionate embedded developer responsible for developing embedded hardware designs for Medical Devices and Consumer Products (IoT).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
To create and develop hardware for IoT and consumer electronic devices.
Design PCB layouts and schematics using Autodesk Fusion 360.
Select appropriate MCUs, Asics, and electronic components based on project requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product designers, to ensure seamless hardware and software solutions integration.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Testing and Validation:
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate hardware designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during the development and production phases.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed documentation of design processes, specifications, and testing procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of Experience
Proficiency in PCB design using Autodesk Fusion 360.
Strong knowledge of MCUs and their application in IoT and consumer electronics.
Experience with embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with prototyping and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards - ISO13485, FCC, CE
Familiarity with low-power design for battery-operated devices.
Understanding of Analog and Digital circuit design.
Debugging skills
Testing and analysing skills using an Oscilloscope, DC Power Supply, etc
