Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Design

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in substation design to join a leading global engineering and infrastructure consultancy. This role offers the chance to lead complex projects in transmission and distribution, while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

What you’ll do:
Act as a technical specialist or lead engineer on substation projects (distribution, sub-transmission, and transmission).
Develop deliverables including protection & control (P&C) and physical substation design.
Lead QA/QC efforts, mentor junior engineers, and guide project execution.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Apply advanced engineering techniques, oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
8+ years of substation design experience (P&C and/or physical).
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or in pursuit).
Proven track record in QA/QC, project leadership, and client coordination.
Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE/ANSI standards, and advanced engineering practices.
