Senior Electrical Engineer – Spacecraft Systems
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-time
Tech Edge Networks is recruiting experienced Electrical Engineers for opportunities with a growing space technology company in the Los Angeles area.
We are looking for engineers with hands-on experience developing, integrating, testing, or verifying electrical hardware for spacecraft, satellites, space vehicles, avionics, payloads, or other mission-critical aerospace systems.
Relevant backgrounds may include spacecraft avionics, digital hardware, FPGA/ASIC development, power electronics, mixed-signal electronics, PCB design, embedded systems, flight hardware, electrical integration, and verification/test.
What You May Work On
Spacecraft and satellite electrical hardware
Avionics and flight electronics
Digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design
FPGA and ASIC-based systems
PCB/PCBA schematic design, layout, bring-up, and debugging
Spacecraft power electronics and power-distribution systems
Embedded electronics and communications interfaces
Electrical integration, verification, and qualification testing
Hardware troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Flight and payload electronics
Cross-functional development with systems, software, mechanical, GNC, and test engineering teams
Desired Background
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of relevant engineering experience
Experience with spacecraft, satellites, spaceflight hardware, or advanced aerospace/defense systems
Experience in one or more of the following:
FPGA / ASIC
Digital hardware
Analog / mixed-signal electronics
Power electronics
PCB / PCBA design
Avionics
Embedded systems
Spacecraft electrical power systems
Electrical integration and test
Experience taking hardware through design, integration, test, qualification, or production
Ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles area
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. government security clearance may be required depending on the program.
