Annual Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 per annum

An exciting High-Tech Engineering Company located in the San Francisco Bay Area (USA) who specialize in the industry for Defense and Space Manufacturing are hiring for a brand new Senior Electrical Engineer to join the fast growing highly innovative team and to be working on proven world-class technologies, infrastructure and products building them from ground up to deliver breakthroughs for the company’s customers.
Salary on offer:
The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Electrical Engineer is $170,000 - $220,000 per annum.
Summary of the Senior Electrical Engineering Role:
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will take ownership for delivering flight-ready work that will include the full design, development, system architecture definition and validation of Electronics Hardware Design for space systems & defense technologies.
Senior Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5-10+ years industry professional experience
Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
Extensive experience designing complex analog, digital & mixed-signal
PCB Design & Schematic Capture
Knowledge/experience of Power Electronics Design & FPGA’s
Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, DDR4, PCIe, MIPI, multi-GHz SerDes
Embedded C, C++, Python - Bonus
Experience working in military or aerospace industries with a strong background in MIL-STD-461, 464, 810, DO-160 compliance, or similar industrial/automotive standards – Bonus
Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
Practical skills - Prototype (circuit) design, testing, troubleshooting, debugging electronics
Experience in Defense, Space, Aerospace or similar safety critical industries
Strong problem-solving skills, innovative, communication and team-work skills
