Job Summary
A Marietta-based multi-discipline engineering and design-build firm is seeking a full-time electrical engineer with a Professional Engineering degree for our corporate Marietta office. This position requires 12+ years of experience in federal, municipal and industrial building projects.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding junior and senior-level engineers and designers in protection and controls engineering design efforts, including providing guidance with the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of the engineering work.

This position allows you to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the detailed electrical design and project management of high-voltage substation projects.

Responsibilities
Design complex and large electrical medium voltage and low voltage distribution systems and electrical building systems (i.e. general power, lighting, grounding, etc.)
Develop your career via peer learning through knowledge-sharing with other experienced engineers.
You will perform analysis and design of single line diagrams, substation relaying & metering diagrams (i.e. A.C. schematic diagrams), and D.C. Schematic diagrams.
You will work on challenging assignments, including investigating, troubleshooting, and solving various electrical engineering issues.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will prepare reports that present technical and project information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements.
Survey and evaluation of existing conditions
Perform construction administration

Skills
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
P.E. license in Georgia is required (P.E. license in Alabama a plus)
Minimum of 12 years’ experience
Must be highly proficient in Revit, BIM and AutoCAD
Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
