For our client, we are seeking a Senior EDA Tools Hardware Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $164,470 – $311,890 annually

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and verify hardware design tools and methodologies
Develop unique hardware designs and integrate components into systems
Analyze and optimize methodologies for power, performance, and efficiency
Build platforms, databases, scripts, and tool flows for design automation
Test and analyze design automation tools for reliability and quality
Develop tools for digital design, power optimization, and timing methodologies
Collaborate with EDA vendors to define and adopt next-generation tools

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a STEM-related field
7+ years of hardware design experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with a Master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD
Experience in EDA tools and methodologies, including debugging
Experience in physical design, optimization, and tool flows
Experience in digital design, verification, and structural layout
