Your Responsibilities
Your key areas of responsibility will be as follows:
* Define, develop, validate and deploy multiple internal software solutions associated to the Cadence Virtuoso framework:
o Development, maintenance of internal NXP software tool(s) used by NXP design teams:
§ Integrating innovative, performance oriented, desktop python and pyQt applications.
§ Extension possible as CAD software Architect, defining new requirements based on design teams and other CAD tools inputs.
o Test regression generation: Writing automated tests and testing implemented tool.
o Deployment to NXP R&D design teams
* Maintenance (enhancement, defect and support) of a collection of internal utilities linked to Cadence Virtuoso framework (mainly coded in SKILL, Python, Bash)
* Create technical documentation and trainings associated to tools development.
Your profile:
* MS degree in electrical engineering with software expertise with minimum 5 years’ experience
* Mandatory programming languages (per priority)
1. Analog Front End Flow & Analog simulation analyses: good understanding
2. Python software expert - Python object-oriented programming and PyQt
3. Linux environment and Compilation (Python / QT and PyQt compilation)
4. Cadence SKILL expert level, Shell
* Experienced in customization of Cadence IC Virtuoso Design Environment
* Technical Knowledge(s) of following items is a plus:
o Configuration management tools (e.g. Git)
o Ticketing system/Bug-tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
o Testing platform knowledge e.g. Robot Framework
o OSS basic knowledge (which OSS can be reused or not, copyright management)
o Object-Oriented programming (C/C++, …)
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Strict towards performance and quality requirements.
* Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
* Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative skills for working efficiently in a team having worldwide connections with partners and users.
* Self-driven and passionate about learning and the industry.
