Senior Audiovisual (AV) Design Engineer

Overview
We are working with a leading national technology integrator delivering complex, large-scale audiovisual and infrastructure solutions across the US. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to bring on a Senior AV Design Engineer (CTS-D preferred) to support a wide range of high-profile projects, including across mission-critical, commercial and entertainment environments.
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has opened four new offices in the last two years, offering clear progression into leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and engineering of complex AV systems across large-scale projects
Develop detailed system designs, schematics, and documentation (AutoCAD/Revit)
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Support projects across mission-critical environments, entertainment venues, and infrastructure builds
Ensure designs meet industry standards, client requirements, and project timelines
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers where required
Requirements
Proven experience in AV system design within a consultancy or integrator environment
CTS-D certification preferred (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of AV technologies, signal flow, and system integration
Experience with large-scale or complex projects (e.g. data centres, arenas, command centres, etc.)
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
