Role Description The Senior Analog Layout BCD Process role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will be responsible for performing analog layout design for BCD processes, including floorplanning, device placement, routing, and layout optimization for performance, yield, and reliability. Daily tasks include collaborating with circuit design engineers to translate schematics into layouts, conducting DRC/LVS checks, and ensuring compliance with foundry design rules and guidelines. The role involves reviewing and refining layouts for key analog blocks such as power management circuits, sensors, and mixed-signal interfaces, as well as preparing documentation and layout reports for tape-out. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to support project schedules, resolve layout-related issues, and contribute to layout methodology improvements.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in analog Layout Design for BCD and mixed-signal processes, including floorplanning, device matching, and layout optimization.
Ability to differentiate and apply Layout Design principles distinct from Graphic Design, Page Layout, and general Graphics work in an engineering context.
Familiarity with Graphics and Page Layout tools as needed for technical documentation and presentation of design data.
Understanding of Digital Marketing concepts helpful for supporting technical content, branding, and communication of product capabilities.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor/Siemens, Synopsys) for layout, DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction.
Solid knowledge of semiconductor device physics, BCD process technologies, and analog/mixed-signal design principles.
Ability to interpret schematics, design constraints, and foundry PDKs, and translate them into manufacturable layouts.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, with relevant experience in analog layout.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
