About the Opportunity
Fruition Group is supporting a leading space technology company developing advanced satellite and radar systems.

We are looking for an RF Hardware Engineer to design, develop and validate high-performance electronics used within sophisticated RF and radar payloads.

The role combines RF hardware development with high-speed electronics, mixed-signal design, system integration and hands-on laboratory validation.

What You'll Be Doing
Design and develop RF and mixed-signal electronic hardware
Support hardware architecture for advanced radar and satellite systems
Develop RF front-end and supporting electronics
Design low-noise RF and analog circuitry
Work with high-speed ADCs, DACs and digitizer architectures
Integrate RF components, processors, FPGAs and high-speed interfaces
Support phased-array and antenna-related electronics
Perform schematic capture and support PCB layout
Conduct RF and electrical simulations
Lead board bring-up, characterization and debugging
Develop and execute hardware validation plans
Perform laboratory testing using RF and high-speed measurement equipment
Investigate signal integrity, noise and system performance issues
Support environmental and system-level testing
Collaborate with RF, antenna, FPGA, firmware, mechanical and systems engineers
Support hardware from prototype through flight-ready implementation

What We're Looking For
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering or similar
Strong RF hardware development experience
Experience designing RF and/or mixed-signal PCBs
Understanding of RF front-end architectures
Experience with high-speed ADC/DAC systems
Strong laboratory and hardware debugging skills
Experience using RF test equipment such as:
Vector Network Analyzers
Spectrum Analyzers
Signal Generators
Oscilloscopes
Power Meters
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals including impedance matching, noise, gain and signal integrity
Experience taking electronic hardware through design, bring-up and validation

Highly Relevant Experience
Satellite or spacecraft electronics
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
Radar systems
Phased-array systems
RF front-end modules
High-speed digitizers
Low-noise analog electronics
FPGA-based systems
High-speed PCB design
EMI/EMC
Aerospace or defense hardware
Hardware designed for harsh or high-reliability environments

Why Join?

You'll work on RF hardware that forms a critical part of sophisticated space-based sensing systems.
This is an opportunity to remain hands-on with RF and electronics while working across design, integration, testing and real-world system deployment.

The environment suits engineers who enjoy technically difficult hardware problems,
multidisciplinary engineering and seeing their designs become operational systems.
