About Rancho Labs
Rancho Labs is an IIT Delhi (IHFC)-incubated company building premium makerspaces where students aged 7–17 learn AI, Robotics, and Engineering by building real-world projects. We operate across Delhi NCR with our own curriculum, hardware ecosystem, and learning platform.
The Role
Lead the innovation engine of Rancho Labs. You will build advanced student projects, mentor competition teams, and turn ideas into working prototypes through hands-on engineering and fabrication.
What You'll Do
Lead innovation projects from concept to working prototype.
Build, train, and mentor student teams for robotics, AI, and STEM competitions.
Design and develop prototypes using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Work with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, and other controller platforms.
Manage procurement of components, tools, and materials.
Operate and supervise fabrication using workshop machinery and equipment.
Support students in demonstrations, competitions, and technical showcases.
Required Qualifications
B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
Strong CAD design skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) — mandatory.
Experience working with multiple controllers and microcontroller platforms.
Experience operating heavy machinery and fabrication equipment.
Demonstrated experience building functional prototypes and engineering projects.
Must have completed and presented a Capstone Project or equivalent engineering project.
Strong design and procurement capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in chip design or embedded hardware development.
Participation in, or awards from, robotics, engineering, or technical competitions.
Experience mentoring students or technical teams.
