Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to drive the end-to-end execution of customer ASIC/VLSI engineering projects. The role involves planning, resource coordination, milestone tracking, customer communication, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery of project commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end project execution from project kickoff to delivery and closure.
Understand customer SOW, scope, milestones, deliverables, and priorities and convert them into an execution plan.
Plan and coordinate engineering resources across multiple workstreams.
Work closely with RTL, DFT, Verification, STA, Physical Design, FPGA, Firmware, and other engineering teams as applicable.
Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, effort, and resource utilization.
Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and schedule deviations.
Drive closure of technical and execution blockers with engineering leads.
Coordinate dependencies between customer teams and internal engineering teams.
Act as the key interface between the customer and internal project teams for execution-related matters.
Conduct regular project reviews and provide clear status, risks, action items, and recovery plans.
Manage customer feedback, changing priorities, and scope-related discussions.
Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet agreed quality expectations.
Escalate critical risks, delays, and resource constraints to management in a timely manner.
Requirements
5–10 years of experience in ASIC/VLSI/semiconductor engineering with program/project execution experience.
Strong understanding of the ASIC/SoC development lifecycle.
Good exposure to one or more areas such as RTL, DFT, Verification, STA, Physical Design, FPGA, or Firmware.
Strong project planning, tracking, and execution skills.
Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
Strong ownership, follow-up, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with Jira, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking/reporting tools.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
Experience managing customer-facing semiconductor engineering projects.
Experience with turnkey engineering services / staff augmentation models.
Experience coordinating distributed engineering teams.
Agile/Scrum project management experience.
PMP/Prince2 or equivalent certification is an advantage.
