About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of advanced electrical product lines. This role plays a critical part in driving product innovation, improving manufacturability, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to customers.
You’ll work cross-functionally to develop engineer-to-order designs, lead complex projects, and mentor engineering talent—all while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom engineer-to-order electrical solutions based on existing product lines
Review and approve product designs prior to production release
Lead innovation in new product development and applications with a focus on manufacturability and cost efficiency
Drive continuous improvement in product reliability, quality, and cost performance
Lead and manage complex engineering projects across product lines and processes
Review and approve engineering changes and product updates
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, ATEX, ANSI, TEMA, CRN, etc.)
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve product and manufacturing issues
Mentor and train junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Support and enhance engineering tools, processes, and workflows
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience
10+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong background in:
Microprocessor design and programming
Advanced PLC programming (Ladder Logic)
Analog and digital circuit design, testing, and development
Electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL 508A, CE, ATEX, NEMA)
PCB design and assembly processes
Electrical system design and wiring techniques
Sizing of electrical protective devices
Manufacturing processes and quality systems
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical problem-solving and innovation mindset
Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Office, ERP systems
Altium Designer and SolidWorks
Programming languages (Visual Basic, C/C++, Assembly)
Ability to interpret technical drawings, EWDs, and P&IDs
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
Collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
