Position Summary
Adam Tech seeks a creative, solution-driven Design Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and refine advanced electronic and interconnect solutions that deliver measurable value to technology customers. This role collaborates closely with our customers, sales organization and product engineering teams to translate requirements into tailored designs, drive proof-of-concept and prototype development, and provide technical leadership from ideation through to manufacture and deployment.


REQUIRED Qualifications & Experience
· 5–10 years’ experience in interconnect design engineering, solutions engineering, or similar applied R&D roles.
· Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
· Demonstrated expertise in analog/digital circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, and system-level troubleshooting.
· Practical use of tools such as Altium, OrCAD, PADS, SPICE, and similar design/verification platforms.
· Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) best practices.
· Proven success in direct customer interaction, requirements gathering, and collaborative design.
· Clear written and verbal communication in English for technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Facing Design & Innovation
· Engage directly with customers and commercial teams to capture detailed requirements and develop custom or modified design solutions.
· Lead all stages of the design lifecycle—from initial scoping, concept, and schematic creation to simulation, prototyping, and final manufacturing transfer.
· Translate complex technical requirements into practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.

Engineering Collaboration & Solution Delivery
· Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure solutions are feasible and meet all specs and standards.
· Conduct design reviews (internal/external), gather feedback, implement modifications, and present technical data to stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain robust documentation for designs, reference materials, BOMs, and customer deliverables.

Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement
· Coordinate and/or conduct system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting of newly designed solutions; iterate based on results and feedback.
· Support the handoff from engineering to manufacturing; assist with process documentation, pilot runs, and first production support.
· Contribute to continual improvement efforts for product performance, reliability, and cost optimization.

Technical Support & Training
· Deliver technical training, presentations, and application guidance to customers, partners, and sales teams.
· Serve as the go-to resource for advanced design and engineering support during sales pursuits and deployment phases.
