Job Role: Hardware / PCB Design Engineer
Duration: Full Time
Location: Linthicum Heights, MD(Onsite)
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (Required)
Core Qualifications:
· EDA Expertise: Proficiency in Cadence Allegro/OrCAD.
· High-Speed Design: Experience with LVDS and HSS (up to 10 Gbps).
· Complexity: Expert knowledge of up to 16+ layer HDI designs and IPC Class 3 standards.
· Full Lifecycle Ownership: From part selection and schematic capture to vendor management and test/integration.
· Documentation: Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for new designs.
Highly Desirable Experience:
· NSA Type 1 Products: Exposure to IA security practices, verification testing, and certification.
· Secure Design: Familiarity with TEMPEST and RED/BLACK isolation.
· Embedded Tools: FPGA design (Xilinx Vivado), Python scripting, or GitLab.
Education/Experience:
Mid-Career: Seven (7) years of experience as a hardware design engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or twelve (12) years of experience without a degree.
Senior: Twelve (12) years of experience as hardware design engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or seventeen (17) years of experience without a degree.
