Job Description
Sensor system, & Sensor characterization
Electronics & embedded system development for sensor interfacing & networking
Mentor team on sensor design, characterization, interfacing & field testing etc
Field visit along with the engineers for the field testing, interact with the customers on the industrial sensor-system requirements
Preparation of technical reports (design, testing & validation, field experiments), experimental datasets, mentor engineers for project documentation
Conduct prior-art and patent search, identify novelty for advancing sensor design, contribute to publications and technology-transfer activities
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation / related area with thesis related to sensor design, instrumentation, and embedded system design.
Record of publications or a demonstrated indigenous sensor design & integration with IoT/embedded system will be a plus.
Required Expertise:
Experience with electromagnetics, sensor design, inductive/magnetic sensing, coil design, analog electronics and signal conditioning circuit design
Experience in building physical sensor prototypes, MEMS sensors interfaces, Industrial sensor systems, FEM simulation
Hands-on experience with ANSYS Maxwell/COMSOL, PCB design tools, MATLAB/Python
Worked with Arm cortex MCU from STM/TI, Embedded C/C++, PLC / SCADA system
