Role Description The Principal Analog Mixed Signal Engineer will lead design, development, and verification of complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for high-performance systems. Responsibilities include defining architecture, conducting feasibility studies, performing transistor-level design, simulations, and optimization, and driving block- and top-level integration from concept to production. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as digital design, layout, test, and system engineering, as well as guiding junior engineers through technical mentorship and design reviews. The engineer will also participate in specification development, documentation, and support for validation, characterization, and debug of silicon in the lab. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Chennai Area.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal IC design, including amplifiers, ADC/DACs, PLLs, data converters, and sensor interfaces.
Proficiency with EDA tools for schematic capture, SPICE-level simulation, noise and mismatch analysis, and corner/Monte Carlo verification.
Experience with CMOS process technologies, device physics, and collaboration with layout teams for floorplanning and physical design.
Hands-on skills in lab measurement, silicon validation, debug, and use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and related instrumentation.
Background in system-level design and integration, including interface standards, signal integrity, power management, and reliability considerations.
Ability to lead projects, provide technical direction, review designs, and mentor engineers in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting specifications, presenting design trade-offs, and coordinating with global teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; significant relevant industry experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design at senior or principal level.
Experience working with cross-functional product teams and familiarity with end-to-end product development life cycle from concept through production.
