Salary: $85,000 + Bonus
Our client, a leader in providing innovative design and engineering solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) to join their team on a remote basis. This role will focus on supporting the design and delivery of mechanical systems for healthcare projects.
The Mechanical Engineer’s role will involve:
Supporting the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for healthcare facilities.
Assisting with the preparation of construction documents, Revit models, technical reports, and project specifications.
Performing load calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Supporting construction administration activities including submittals, RFIs, site visits, and QA/QC reviews.
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
EIT certification with the intention of pursuing PE licensure.
3+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design, ideally within healthcare or commercial projects.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, applicable building codes, and industry standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, and IBC.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to travel as needed to support project requirements.
