Mechanical Engineer – MEP (Mid / Senior Level)

We’re supporting a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Florida, delivering complex projects across aviation, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with experience in building systems design to join their Orlando team.
The role
You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of mechanical systems across a range of projects, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. This is a hands-on engineering role with exposure to full project lifecycles.
Key responsibilities
• Design HVAC and mechanical building systems for commercial and institutional projects
• Produce and review drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Support project delivery from concept through construction
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical and civil
• Engage with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
What they’re looking for
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience within MEP / building services design
• Strong HVAC design knowledge (load calculations, ductwork, equipment selection)
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards in Florida / U.S.
• Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
For more senior candidates
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers
• PE license or working towards
