Your impact

Key Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of mechanical systems in semiconductor fabs
Experience in tool install mechanical design including
Process piping
Hook-ups
Utility routing
Equipment layouts
Knowledge of
Cleanroom protocols and constraints
HVAC interfaces
Exhaust and process ventilation systems
Familiarity with codes and standards (SEMI, ASME, local codes)
Understanding of materials used in semiconductor piping systems (SS, PVDF, etc.)
Strong interdisciplinary coordination skills

Key Responsibilities

Develop mechanical tool install designs from concept to construction stage
Prepare
Piping layouts and routing
Hook-up drawings
Isometrics
Equipment layouts
Design and coordinate
Process utility systems
Exhaust connections
Cooling water and gas distribution
Ensure designs comply with cleanroom constraints and semiconductor standards
Coordinate closely with
Electrical
Process
Facility and HVAC teams
Support site execution, troubleshooting, and technical clarifications
Review deliverables for quality and completeness
Support cost estimation and schedule inputs
Drive continuous improvement through documentation and learnings

Here's what you'll need

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar related degree
6–8 years experience in semiconductor / microelectronics projects
Direct experience in tool install / hook-up design is mandatory
Familiarity with cleanroom environment and utility systems
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables
