Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: Snow Hill, NC (Onsite)
Job type: Fulltime
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to support product development and manufacturing initiatives within a high-volume electromechanical manufacturing environment.
This position will be responsible for developing products from concept through production, creating engineering documentation, supporting prototype development, and working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 6+ years of experience in product development, manufacturing, and production environments
• Strong SolidWorks experience with 3D modeling and mechanical design
• Experience creating engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience supporting products through prototype development, testing, validation, and production release
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
• Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments
