Join an innovative engineering team developing complex mechanical components and systems. This role offers hands-on involvement throughout the product lifecycle, including design, testing, validation, production support, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Support product testing, verification, and qualification activities.
Participate in customer and internal design reviews.
Analyze technical issues and recommend design improvements.
Support manufacturing, quality, and business development teams with technical expertise.
Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and status reporting.
Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products.
Support Design for Excellence (DFX) initiatives, including manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
2–4 years of mechanical design or product development experience.
Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
Proficiency with SolidWorks, Autodesk, or similar CAD software.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing complex mechanical components or systems.
Familiarity with product testing, validation, and qualification processes.
Experience supporting products from concept through production.
CAD software certification is a plus.
