SBT is the exclusive executive recruiting firm for this confidential position.

This confidential stealth startup company is building a new class of highly integrated, low-power semiconductor systems. The team is developing custom silicon that brings together advanced analog, RF, and digital technologies to enable differentiated wireless products.

The ideal candidate is fundamentally an analog/RF IC designer with strong experience developing low-power wireless technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), short-range radios, connectivity devices, or related RF systems.

Role
Define and develop the overall RF and analog architecture for a highly integrated wireless SoC or custom silicon platform
Design critical RF and analog circuits such as LNAs, mixers, oscillators, PLLs/frequency synthesizers, amplifiers, filters, biasing, and supporting analog circuitry
Develop low-power RF architectures suitable for short-range and energy-constrained wireless applications, including technologies with characteristics similar to BLE and other low-power connectivity standards
Own designs from architecture and schematic development through simulation, layout collaboration, verification, tape-out, and silicon bring-up
Establish the company's RFIC design methodology, simulation environment, verification practices, and development infrastructure.

Qualifications
Significant industry experience designing analog and RF integrated circuits, ideally with multiple successful silicon tape-outs
Deep hands-on expertise in CMOS RF and analog circuit design
Strong understanding of low-power radio architectures and wireless transceiver design
Demonstrated experience designing several core RF blocks such as LNAs, mixers, PLLs, VCOs, frequency synthesizers, amplifiers, or related analog/RF circuitry
Experience with wireless technologies such as BLE, Bluetooth, low-power connectivity, short-range wireless, IoT radios, or comparable RF systems
Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where engineers are expected to combine architecture ownership with hands-on implementation
Experience building technology from an early stage, mentoring engineers, or working with external semiconductor partners is a plus
