About the Role We are seeking a talented and motivated GPU Validation & Performance Engineer to join our Silicon Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating GPU functionality, performance, and reliability across graphics and compute workloads while driving performance analysis and optimization initiatives. You will work closely with architecture, driver, software, hardware, and system teams to validate next-generation GPU platforms and ensure industry-leading graphics and compute performance. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge GPU architectures, benchmarking tools, profiling technologies, and graphics APIs for leading semiconductor customers.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive GPU validation, testing, and debugging across graphics and compute workloads.
Execute GPU benchmarking and performance validation using industry-standard benchmark suites and workloads.
Analyze GPU performance bottlenecks using profiling and performance analysis tools.
Develop, execute, and maintain validation test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
Work extensively with OpenGL and OpenCL applications for functional validation and performance characterization.
Perform debugging and root-cause analysis for graphics, compute, and platform-level issues.
Develop Python-based automation tools and scripts for validation, monitoring, and reporting.
Develop Python applications to interface with hardware devices and collect telemetry data such as temperature, power, utilization, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with GPU architecture, driver, firmware, and software teams to resolve validation and performance issues.
Perform regression testing and validate feature enhancements across multiple hardware and software releases.
Analyze benchmark results and provide optimization recommendations to improve graphics and compute performance.
Participate in design reviews, customer discussions, and performance analysis activities.
Create validation reports and present findings to internal stakeholders and customers.
Support product release activities and ensure production-quality validation coverage.

Qualification
BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, VLSI, or related disciplines.

Required Skills
Strong experience in GPU Testing, Validation, and Performance Analysis.
Hands-on expertise in GPU benchmarking and workload validation.
Experience with GPU profiling and performance analysis tools.
Strong debugging skills for graphics and compute workloads.
Hands-on experience in:
OpenGL Development and Debugging
OpenCL Development and Optimization
GPU Benchmarking and Performance Validation
Graphics and Compute Workload Analysis
Python Programming and Automation
Experience developing Python applications to read device telemetry including temperature monitoring and hardware interface validation.
Strong understanding of GPU architecture fundamentals and graphics pipelines.
Experience with Linux and/or Android based validation environments.
Knowledge of performance optimization methodologies and bottleneck analysis.
Experience with automated test frameworks and regression validation.
Good understanding of system-level debugging techniques.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with GPU profiling tools such as RenderDoc, Nsight, Radeon GPU Profiler, GPUView, or similar tools.
Exposure to Vulkan, DirectX, CUDA, or AI/ML compute workloads.
Knowledge of GPU drivers, firmware, and graphics software stacks.
Experience with performance tuning and workload optimization.
Exposure to SoC validation and post-silicon bring-up activities.
Experience in graphics benchmark analysis and performance characterization.
Knowledge of scripting and automation frameworks.
Experience working with semiconductor or consumer device validation programs.
