FPGA Engineer | Sunnyvale | Onsite | FTE | Salary: $150k - $190k per year
Must-haves:
5-8 years of FPGA experience
Strong Xilinx FPGA experience
Experience owning FPGA projects from architecture/design through production
Real-time systems, serial communication, and Ethernet protocols
Ability to work closely with both software and electrical engineering teams
Nice-to-haves:
PCB design experience
Software development experience
Mixed-signal / analog-digital system exposure
What the candidate will work on in the first 6 months
Next-generation platform redesign (their current e-beam lithography machine is getting a new iteration, so the candidate will be working on that.
Heavy architecture and new development work (80% new design / 20% support)
Custom serial communications and real-time data systems
Hiring manager emphasized that candidates with Xilinx FPGA experience, end-to-end ownership, and cross-functional hardware/software collaboration will rise to the top
