Roles and Responsibilities
Release PDK to customers, including design rules, collateral, and updates, while providing information on Fab technology offerings and IP portfolios to enable optimal design decisions.
Drive end‑to‑end RTL‑to‑GDSII implementation, including timing closure, physical sign‑off, and GDS readiness for successful tapeout across technology nodes.
Release reference flows and provide end‑to‑end customer support during customer’s design implementation, ensuring smooth adoption of foundry methodologies and best practices.
Collaborate closely with customers to understand design challenges and help customers fix DRC, LVS, and sign‑off issues, ensuring clean databases.
Run, debug, and sign off, parasitic extraction (PEX), timing, and other sign‑off checks, diagnosing and resolving complex design or flow issues.
Provide structured feedback and collaborate internally with PDK, IP, and CAD teams to continuously improve customer enablement, reference flows, and design infrastructure.
2. Technical Skills and Tool Expertis
8+ years of hands‑on experience in physical design, implementation, and tape‑out/sign‑off
Deep understanding of advanced design flows, foundry PDKs, reference methodologies, and customer enablement, with proven tapeout experience
Strong expertise in industry‑standard EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Synopsys DC/ICC2, Calibre, PrimeTime, and related sign‑off tools
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with customers and cross‑functional teams on complex technical issues
