Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded System Engineer role based in Noida. The Embedded System Engineer will design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for AI and IoT-based safety solutions, particularly within the Sitesafe platform. Responsibilities include integrating sensors and hardware components, optimizing system performance and power consumption, and ensuring reliable communication between edge devices and cloud services. The role involves collaborating with electronics, electrical, and software teams to define system requirements, conduct prototyping, and support deployment in real-world industrial environments. The engineer will also troubleshoot field issues, contribute to documentation, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software and Software Development for resource-constrained devices and real-time systems.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electronics and Electrical Engineering for hardware integration, circuit interfaces, and board-level debugging.
Candidates should possess experience with Internet of Things (IoT) systems, including connectivity protocols, device management, and edge-to-cloud integration.
Candidates should possess proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems (such as C/C++), along with version control tools and debugging utilities.
Relevant skills in sensor integration, communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C), and microcontroller or SoC platforms are highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience working on industrial or safety-critical applications, and familiarity with industry standards or certifications, is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of delivering robust, production-grade embedded solutions.
