Embedded Hardware Engineer (Onsite, Contractor, Must Be US Citizen)

Seeking two Embedded Hardware Engineers for 12 month contract assignments located in Colorado Springs. Both have the possibility of converting to full-time/perm/W2 if everything goes well.

Must be a US CITIZEN
This is an ONSITE position and is NOT REMOTE
Position does not require a security clearance
But must be able to get a clearance if needed

Requirements

For Embedded Hardware Engineer #1
Experience with MicroSemi chip level Ethernet switches & their configuration
Experience with Level 3 ethernet switches
Some ethernet switch experience
Experience bringing up complex digital boards, i.e. board level system bring up
Some amount of ‘software’ experience

For Embedded Hardware Engineer #2
Experience bringing up a multicore Xeon processor boards
Experience working with software engineers on test programs and final application needs
Experience getting the BIOS running and FPGA & code to talk to the mid-plane
Experience debugging, bringing up a brand new server board
Experience with microprocessor systems / boot sequence
More general hardware / board bring up focus
Experience getting the OS running and loading RedHat
