Cardinal Engineering is currently seeking engineers to provide cross discipline systems engineering support to various Navy programs including imaging, torpedo defense, and service life extension. Example tasks include helping senior engineers analyze candidate system design changes, reverse engineer legacy systems and software, design replacements for obsolete elements, and perform root cause analysis of challenging issues.
ASSOCIATE ENGINEER: 0-3 years experience and a B.S. degree required in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines with exposure to complex systems. Looking for highly motivated, team-oriented, individuals who are interested in continuously learning new skills to solve challenging problems. Successful candidates will participate in a small team to create or enhance system capabilities. Salary commensurate with years and applicability of experience ranging from $80 -$98K.
ENGINEER: 3-8 years of experience and a B.S. degree required in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or other technical disciplines with exposure to complex systems. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience with circuit design, embedded software (C preferred), assembly languages, VHDL/Verilog, optical system design, SolidWorks. Salary commensurate with years and applicability of experience ranging from $90 -$125K.
All positions are hybrid positions, with in-office attendance (20%-80% of time) in Cardinal Engineering’s Pawcatuck, CT office. Some travel will be required in execution of assigned duties as testing is performed. Must currently possess or be capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance. Candidate should have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be able to work well without supervision.
The above salary ranges represents a general guideline; however, Cardinal Engineering considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
