Job Summary
Seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer with strong experience in analog and digital hardware design, testing, board bring-up, and debugging. The role is heavily hands-on and involves working closely with electrical, software, firmware, and lab teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bench testing and board bring-up.
Design and build electronic circuits under the guidance of a lead electrical engineer.
Perform circuit analysis and component selection.
Create and modify schematics using Cadence or similar tools.
Direct and review PCB layout activities.
Review documentation and create ECOs for hardware release.
Develop board validation and test plans.
Personally perform hardware testing and validation.
Debug PCBs and electronic circuits to the component level.
Develop custom test fixtures/jigs for efficient circuit testing.
Work closely with software/firmware engineers and technicians in the lab.
Read complex device datasheets and communicate hardware requirements to software/firmware teams.
Prepare technical specifications, test reports, and validation documentation.

Strong technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently from minimal requirements
100% onsite at the Folsom campus
