OneFiltr is developing next-generation tunable RF filters for defense, satellite communications, wireless infrastructure, and advanced RF systems. We are looking for an entry-level Electrical Engineer who enjoys hands-on hardware development and wants to work closely with RF systems, electronics, testing, and product development.
What You'll Do
· Build and test next-generation tunable RF hardware from prototype to product.
· Gain hands-on experience across RF, PCB, embedded systems, FPGA, and hardware testing.
· Develop automation and control systems using Python/MATLAB and microcontrollers.
· Troubleshoot real hardware, perform RF measurements, and solve problems from root cause to solution.
· Work closely with the founding engineering team to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
· Grow into a technical owner in an area that matches your strengths and interests—such as RF Filter Design, RF Systems, Embedded Systems, FPGA/Digital Hardware, or Hardware Test & Automation.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. An associate/two-year degree with 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
· Hands-on laboratory experience with electrical/electronic hardware.
· Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering programming tools.
· Experience with Arduino, microcontrollers, or other hardware control platforms.
· Ability to troubleshoot hardware and perform systematic debugging.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small engineering team.
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
· PCB design, including schematic development and PCB layout.
· High-frequency or RF PCB design and integration.
· RF transmission lines and microwave engineering fundamentals.
· Understanding of S-parameters and RF measurements.
· Experience using vector network analyzers (VNAs) or other RF test equipment.
· RF system integration, calibration, and troubleshooting.
· FPGA development or digital hardware design.
· Magnetics, electromagnetics, or magnetic materials.
· Experience with resonators, filters, antennas, or other RF components.
· Experience with soldering, PCB assembly, rework, or other hands-on hardware prototyping.
Why Join OneFiltr?
· Work on cutting-edge RF technology with real-world applications in defense, communications, and aerospace.
· Learn across the stack—RF, electronics, PCB, embedded systems, FPGA, and hardware testing.
· Work directly with experienced engineers and researchers in a fast-moving startup environment.
· Own real engineering problems and see your work go from prototype to product.
· Build your career with us: grow from hands-on hardware development into a technical owner in RF Filter Design, RF Systems, Embedded Systems, FPGA/Digital Hardware, or Hardware Test & Automation.
· Competitive compensation + equity, with paid time off, paid holidays, and benefits from day one.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Location: Philadelphia, PA
