Job Description
You will be the Electrical Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team delivers precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, designing, building and fielding the electrical hardware that powers missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems for the United States and allied militaries.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineer you will drive the design, analysis, integration and test of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and related electrical subsystems. You will work side by side with systems, software, manufacturing and quality partners, providing hands on laboratory support and production assistance to keep programs on schedule, on budget and fully compliant with defense standards. Your responsibilities will include
Design and analyze CCAs, performing schematic capture, PCB layout and integration with system level architectures.
Conduct electrical testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis on production hardware using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, DMMs and automated test equipment.
Develop robust interconnect solutions—power distribution, signal integrity routing, grounding, shielding and mil spec connector/cable designs.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (systems, software, manufacturing, quality) to resolve integration and interface challenges.
Manage non conforming hardware through Material Review Board (MRB) processes and implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain technical documentation: schematics, test procedures, failure reports and engineering change packages.
Support the MFC Design Assurance process and actively contribute to design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
Interface with suppliers on technical specifications, issue resolution and hardware deliveries, ensuring traceability and compliance.
