They are looking for a Digital Hardware Engineer to take ownership of the design and development of complex digital electronics, with a particular focus on creating the board-level hardware that supports high-performance FPGA systems.

This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys taking a hardware concept, opening Altium, and building a PCB from scratch through schematic capture, design, bring-up, and validation.

Responsibilities:

Design complex digital PCBs from the ground up.
Own schematic capture and board design using Altium Designer.
Develop hardware architectures and schematics for FPGA-based systems.
Select and integrate FPGAs, processors, memory, power supplies, communications interfaces, and peripheral devices.
Work directly with FPGA engineers to develop the underlying hardware platforms for their designs.
Support PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design reviews.
Perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation of newly manufactured hardware.

Qualifications:

5 years of commercial experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional experience designing complex digital electronics and PCBs.
Strong hands-on experience with Altium Designer.
Proven ability to perform schematic capture and design boards from scratch.
Strong understanding of digital circuit design and board-level electronics.
Experience designing hardware around FPGAs and/or embedded processors.

If you’re a hands-on hardware engineer who enjoys designing complex boards from scratch and wants greater ownership over the products you develop, apply today or reach out for a confidential conversation.
