Payout: $66 - $130/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Semiconductor Devices & Microelectronics Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, simulating, and optimizing semiconductor devices and microelectronic components for advanced applications. Responsibilities include integrating these components into larger electronic systems and ensuring performance meets technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop semiconductor devices, including transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits, using industry-standard tools.
• Simulate device behavior under various operating conditions to validate performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microelectronic components into system-level designs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to semiconductor device functionality and system integration.
• Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in semiconductor device physics, including CMOS, FinFET, and other advanced transistor technologies.
• Experience with simulation tools such as TCAD, SPICE, or Cadence Virtuoso for device and circuit modeling.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and design rules for manufacturability.
• Familiarity with microelectronic packaging and interconnect technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges in device performance.
• Ability to interpret and apply industry standards such as JEDEC, ITRS, or similar.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Verilog) for automation and analysis.
• Understanding of reliability and failure analysis techniques for semiconductor devices.
