Company Description PQAngels Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a specialized engineering company focused on turning microarchitecture concepts into market-ready solutions, from silicon to complete systems. The organization provides end-to-end services in silicon device design, including SoC/ASIC, RTL, design verification, physical design, DFT, memory, and chiplet interconnect technologies. These core capabilities are complemented by expertise in embedded systems, firmware, software, AI, DevOps, and cloud engineering. Team members work on cutting-edge semiconductor and system-level projects with global clients, gaining exposure to advanced technologies and complex design challenges.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Verification Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Design Verification Engineer will develop and execute verification plans to ensure the functional correctness and quality of complex RTL designs. Daily responsibilities include creating testbenches and test cases, performing functional and formal verification, running simulations, analyzing coverage, and identifying and debugging design issues. The role involves close collaboration with RTL design, architecture, and validation teams to review specifications, clarify requirements, and drive verification closure. The engineer will also document verification methodologies, contribute to process improvements, and support tape-out and regression activities for multiple projects.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Functional Verification and Debugging, including testbench development, simulation, and issue resolution.
Proficiency in RTL Design and Computer Architecture concepts, with the ability to interpret specifications and microarchitecture documents.
Experience or knowledge in Formal Verification methodologies and tools for ensuring design correctness.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard verification languages and tools (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM, simulators, formal tools).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Familiarity with SoC/ASIC design flows, version control, and scripting (e.g., Python, Perl, or shell) is an advantage.
Prior experience in high-performance or low-power digital design projects is a plus.
