Position: Assistant Manager – Component Development – Electronics

We are looking for an experienced Electronics / Electrical Component Development professional with strong expertise in automotive electrical & electronics systems, component development, validation, supplier coordination, and new product development.

πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities
β€’ Lead end-to-end development of electrical/electronic components from concept to production.
β€’ Define electrical specifications, functional requirements, and interfaces for components.
β€’ Develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture.
β€’ Work closely with suppliers for component design, development, validation, and sourcing.
β€’ Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA for electrical/electronic components.
β€’ Plan and execute DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) for validation testing.
β€’ Ensure compliance with automotive standards including ISO, IEC, AIS, EMI/EMC, and safety requirements.
β€’ Support integration of components into vehicle systems or EVSE systems.
β€’ Troubleshoot electrical issues, component failures, and field concerns.
β€’ Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and localization activities.
β€’ Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Supplier teams for smooth product launch.
β€’ Participate in APQP and PPAP documentation and reviews.

⚑ Key Components / Systems Exposure
β€’ EVSE – AC/DC Chargers
β€’ Battery Management Systems (BMS)
β€’ Power Electronics – Inverters / Converters
β€’ Wiring Harness & Connectors
β€’ Sensors & Actuators
β€’ ECU / PCB Assemblies / Control Units

⭐ Preferred Technical Experience
β€’ Strong understanding of electrical design fundamentals and circuit behaviour.
β€’ Experience with schematic/circuit design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or equivalent.
β€’ Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Modbus, and Ethernet.
β€’ Hands-on experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and DVP&R.
β€’ Understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding, and shielding practices.
β€’ Experience in component validation, testing, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination.
β€’ Exposure to EV, EVSE, BMS, or automotive electrical/electronic systems.
