Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CAD Engineer with a strong Python background, located in Bengaluru. The CAD Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing computer-aided design workflows, supporting the deployment of engineering tools such as EDA and Cadence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving technical challenges in physical design processes. Additional responsibilities include scripting custom solutions using Python and integrating them into existing workflows.
Qualifications
Expertise in Physical Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
Experience working with EDA tools and a solid understanding of their applications
Proficiency in Cadence and similar design tools
Strong Python programming background for automation and tool customization
Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with semiconductor design workflows is highly desirable
6+ years of industry experience in CAD engineering or a related field
