We are seeking a CAD/CAE Engineer to support the design and development of complex engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation for a leading engineering-driven organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong CAD/CAE expertise who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, schematics, and assembly models using CAD/CAE software
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve design issues and ensure drawing accuracy
Translate sketches, plans, and verbal/written instructions into precise technical drawings and models
Maintain drafting standards, documentation procedures, and revision controls
Support design validation and engineering change processes
Evaluate and recommend CAD/CAE-related tools, hardware, and software improvements
Ensure all drawings and specifications meet quality and engineering standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of CAD/CAE engineering or drafting experience
Strong proficiency with CAD/CAE software and engineering drawing standards
Experience creating and managing detailed mechanical or product assembly drawings
Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical requirements
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting manufacturing, product development, or medical device environments
Familiarity with drafting standards, revision control, and engineering documentation processes
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
