About the Role:
Ascendion is seeking an experienced Adobe Workfront Admin / Workflow Automation SME to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative within AWS Marketing Operations. This role will focus on designing and optimizing workflow automation, intake routing, operational templates, and platform integrations across Adobe Workfront and connected enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience configuring enterprise project management platforms, building scalable workflow automations, and supporting complex operational ecosystems utilizing APIs, middleware, and AI-driven workflow orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Administration
Build and optimize custom intake forms, project templates, approval workflows, dashboards, and operational routing structures within Adobe Workfront
Design scalable workflows supporting marketing operations, launch readiness, project tracking, and operational governance
Configure project lifecycle templates and automate task routing based on business logic and intake criteria
Workflow Automation & Integrations
Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using Workfront Fusion, Make, or similar iPaaS/middleware platforms
Develop automated routing logic connecting AI-driven intake systems with downstream operational workflows
Support API integrations, webhook automation, and cross-platform synchronization across enterprise tools and SaaS environments
Troubleshoot automation failures, API issues, data mapping inconsistencies, and workflow reliability concerns
Intake & Operational Workflow Design
Create intelligent intake and classification workflows to route requests into the correct operational execution paths
Support automation of launch workflows, marketing operations, and content production pipelines
Improve operational efficiency through scalable automation and workflow optimization initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Backend Developers, AI Engineers, PMO teams, Marketing Operations, and Product stakeholders
Translate operational business requirements into scalable workflow and automation solutions
Support operational reporting, documentation, and workflow governance initiatives
Required Qualifications
Strong experience administering Adobe Workfront or similar enterprise project management platforms
Hands-on experience with Workfront Fusion, Make, Zapier, Workato, Power Automate, or related iPaaS/workflow orchestration tools
Experience building API integrations, webhooks, workflow automations, and enterprise routing logic
Strong understanding of operational workflows, project management lifecycles, and enterprise automation
Ability to troubleshoot integration failures, automation issues, and operational bottlenecks
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Adobe Workfront certification preferred
Experience supporting enterprise marketing operations or PMO environments
Familiarity with AI-driven workflow automation or intelligent intake systems
Experience integrating SaaS platforms, collaboration tools, and operational systems
Knowledge of project intake governance, approval workflows, and operational reporting

BenefitS:
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $150,000 - $155,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
