Summary
This individual is part of a team that will create new tools and update features within our existing technologies to allow for the testing of industrial controls programs in a virtual environment before entering production. Responsibilities will include gathering requirements for upcoming projects, implementing solutions to handle those requirements, and test them in conjunction with other software design team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications
Experienced at reading technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Capable of working in a hybrid office and remote environment.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with short turn-around times.
Technical writing and data presentation skills.
Solid organizational skills including proven ability to multi-task.
Willing to research new processes and technologies to improve the workflow of future projects.
Preferred:
Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or broader manufacturing industries.
Experience in Test Driven Development or Industrial Digital Twin testing environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working closely with other teams.
Experience working in WinMOD, Emulate3D, or Process Simulate or equivalent environment.
Knowledge of controls standards for Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other automotive manufacturers.


Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
5 years’ experience developing in at least one of the following: C#/Java/JScript/C++
2 years’ experience with control systems and programming PLCs. (Rockwell/Siemens)
