Two openings with a MedTech company preparing a complex electromechanical system for clinical use. This is the role that proves the machine works: verification and validation across hardware, software and the integrated system.
Most V&V roles hand you a finished design and a template. This one puts you in the room while the product is still being built, shaping how it will be verified from the start.
What you will do:
Plan and execute design verification and validation across a complex electromechanical system: mechanical, electrical, software and system level
Write and run test protocols, build test methods and fixtures, and produce the objective evidence a regulated submission needs
Build requirements traceability from user needs through design inputs to test results
Work daily with the engineers designing the system, catching issues at the bench rather than in the report
Help shape the V&V function itself. You are among the first dedicated hires in it
Who you are:
Hands-on V&V experience in medical devices or another regulated, safety-critical industry
You can write a clean protocol and you can also pick up the tools and run it
Working knowledge of design controls, risk-based testing and standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601 or IEC 62304
Experience verifying complex electromechanical systems is a strong plus
You see V&V as engineering, not paperwork
