Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Electrical Validation Engineer to support the testing, validation, and integration of vehicle electrical systems and features. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating electrical functions, verifying vehicle electrical architectures and signals, developing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and supporting program teams throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
This role requires hands-on vehicle testing experience, strong knowledge of vehicle electrical architectures, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Validation & Testing
Validate vehicle electrical features and functions against system requirements.
Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and validation activities.
Create and update Functional Objectives (FOs) and validation documentation.
Perform validation of vehicle electrical architectures, networks, and signals.
Conduct both virtual and physical vehicle testing, with a primary focus on hands-on vehicle validation.
Verify system functionality, performance, and integration across vehicle platforms.

Issue Management & Analysis
Investigate and troubleshoot vehicle electrical issues.
Perform root cause analysis and support corrective action implementation.
Track, document, and manage issues through resolution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve system integration concerns.

Program Support
Provide regular status updates and technical reports to program stakeholders.
Support vehicle development milestones and validation activities throughout the program lifecycle.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, systems, and integration engineering groups.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience within the automotive industry.
Experience in vehicle testing and validation activities.
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and CAN communication.
Experience validating automotive electrical features and vehicle functions.
Hands-on experience working directly with development or production vehicles.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting vehicle programs through Start of Production (SOP).
Hands-on experience with vehicle prototypes and hardware development activities.
Familiarity with automotive product development processes, vehicle integration, and launch support.
Exposure to OEM vehicle development environments and engineering tools.
