Job Description:
We are seeking an Automotive Validation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in Infotainment Validation / Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating automotive infotainment systems, testing features, and ensuring high-quality product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform validation and testing of Automotive Infotainment Systems including Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth, Connectivity, Audio, Display, and HMI features.
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on system requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Work closely with development teams, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Validate software releases and support vehicle-level testing.
Analyze logs, trace files, and test results for root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and validation processes.
Participate in test planning, status reporting, and quality reviews.
Required Skills:
2–3 years of experience in Automotive Validation / Testing.
Strong experience in Automotive Domain.
Mandatory hands-on experience in Infotainment Testing.
Good knowledge of Bluetooth, USB, CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation, Audio systems.
Experience in CAN tools like CANoe / CANalyzer is preferred.
Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN, LIN preferred.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira / ALM / Bugzilla.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with OEMs / Tier-1 automotive clients.
Exposure to Agile methodology.
Understanding of software validation lifecycle.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, or related field.
