Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Validation Engineer to support validation and verification activities for automotive electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ECU testing, HIL validation, and model-based development environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, functionality, and compliance with automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform system and ECU validation for automotive applications.
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on system requirements.
Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using dSPACE or similar platforms.
Work with MATLAB/Simulink models for model-based development and validation.
Analyze and debug system behavior using tools like CANalyzer.
Perform integration, functional, regression, and system-level testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and systems engineering.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 (if applicable).
Document test results, defects, and validation reports.
Support issue tracking, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Automotive Testing & Validation
Hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
Experience with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) testing
Knowledge of CAN communication protocols
Hands-on experience with CANalyzer / CANoe tools
Understanding of embedded systems and automotive architectures
Experience in test case design and execution
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture
Experience with Python, CAPL scripting, or automation tools
Familiarity with UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229)
Exposure to ASPICE process compliance
Experience in vehicle-level testing or SIL/MIL environments
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
Experience in EV systems or ADAS validation
Exposure to cloud-based testing or data analysis tools
